Are you trying to pull the damper off the crankshaft. If so will need a wheel puller. This type. https://www.wdcart.com/cremos/catalo...heelPuller.JPG
Center bolt must be out. May have to go to hardware store and get some grade 8 bolt to fit the damper. Some kits don't have the right bolts. Car must be in grear to prevent turning over motor. Hope that answers question correctly. Ps some type of rust buster is good to spray on it now may want to let it sit awhile then try.

That center bolt should be the only one holding it in place. When you say the puller bent the pulley, did it physically bend it, or did it pull it on an angle on the shaft causing it to wedge?

Here is a shot of the puller on my crankshaft.

The pulley, and timing gear removed.

Ignore my post. I am wrong. I guess got my 2.3 confused with the SHO motor. I mess up once in awhile. And this is one. Thanks 7 Zero for setting the posting correct. Thanks again Maurice

I'm gonna try and upload some pics cause yours 7 looks completely different from mine. Mine only has space for one belt and has a completely flat face to it. and yes it's physically bending the the ridges of the pulley towards to the center. I'll attempt to upload the pics to give you guys a better idea, i've been workin on it all morning and still managed to do nothing lol.

I just looked at mine. Like you said a single pulley. Like 7 Zero without the pulley closest to his puller. I assume yours are flat belts instead of v-belts. Flat belts should be stock unless someone changed to the older type. I assume bottom pulley looks like this one. I done a search here what is suppose to be used. I have always used what 7 Zero used. But according to this site and several this is what is needed. Ouch on price. Wouldn't be a option if is was me. Maybe could make one a big nut that would fit in hole and weld 2 ears to catch in crank pulley. Then a grade 8 bolt to fit nut. Just a idea.

This my turbo motor but pulley should be same.

Done a search for other methods. Deadblow hammer and penetrating oil. Some they fell off almost and few had to cut off. Here is link with their ideas.

Spray the heck out of it with PB Blaster. Let it sit overnight and spray it again. Tap all around it with a ball peen hammer. Use a quality puller and it should come off. I was lucky, mine fell right off!
