Exclamation will ranger springs fit on mustang?

hey guys i just got big fat tires for my car and was wondering if ranger springs would fit on my 92 mustang lx 2.3l, cuz i cant put the tires on the car cuz the car wont drive and i already took some rubber off the tire ;( im in high school so i need to know what i can do to solve this and dont have much money cuz im still in school

?? How will ranger springs help? What are tires hitting? Front or rear? I doubt will fit. Lot of difference in weight and design of suspension. Only thing might help is spacers.

there hitting the top of my wheel well like the lip and **** and i was looking at ranger springs and explorer springs that were in the front of them since they use leaf springs in the back and it looks like it would fit the mustang i prob just gotta measure and ****

Umm... I'll put this as nice as possible. You should have measured TWICE before you bought the tires.

i got them from the junk yard for 50 bucks and it needs new tires, im just wondering if ranger springs will fit, u dont have to be a douche about it

Hi,

Sleeper wasnt been a douche

If the tires are hitting the fender-well area, changing the springs to a stiffer spring isnt going to help all that much. You need to limit the travel of the actualy shocks/struts in order for them not to rub, but in doing that, your going to be messing with all the suspension geomertry.....and thats going to create a whole can of new worms....

Get a bid hammer or rubber mallet and beat the crap out of the inner fender, or take the current tires to a used tire shop and trade tham for a decent set that will work.
