Default Can I switch my front seats around with no problem

My driver side seat is getting beat up

It might be possible, but my first guess would be no. The mechanism to lay the seat forward and backwards is on the side nearest to the door so when you switch them, it would put that mechanism on the inside by the armrest. There might be some clearance issues there. Other than that, I beleive that the driver and passenger side seat rails are identical, so it very well could be possible, just a real pain to do.
