Default stang broke down at the gym need help

ok so havine a terrable day,,,,,today my car started making this noise like when ur car is already started and u try to start it agine it make sthat straching noise,,, it did that while it was runing then when i tried to shut the car off it kept running,,,,, then it just stopped running complety,,,, is this my starter,,, or an igintion problem,,, sumone said it was my trans converter
i need any info,, hopfully,,, u guys can understand sorry,,, hard to explaine,, but thanks for any replies

Let see if got this correct. Was running and made sound like you were trying to start it with it running. Then went to turn it off with key and would not turn off. Now won't start with key. The only thing comes to my mind is ignition switch. Ford during this time had some problem with them burning out and have read some car fires. I guess if it went bad could do this. Just a guess best thing I can come up with. I could also be wrong. Maurice

Do you have bright lights, horn etc, Maybe battery down but this don't explain the noises. Also thinking maybe starter is stuck in flywheel. Kind of hard to diagnosis without a volt meter and there. Is car automatic or standard? If standard could rock back and forth and see if crank turns. If starter is stuck in flywheel it usually locks it up. If automatic could try turning the crank. Maurice

my ignation wire was burnt up,, a must of been kept my started in gaged,, but i fixed it thnaks man
