check out classic tube, or spectras website you can order aluminum tubing and make your own for cheaper Im sure then what you would pay for the 5.0 setup. Grab a couple silicone couplers from racepartssolutions.com and you will be good for under 75 bucks

i bought the one from mustangsunlimited. i had to buy a different silicone adapter to get it to fit my throttlebody but since you have a '93, you have a MAF, that would pose more problems

I made my own for $20 at an exhaust shop. Make a template of what bend you want and how you want it to be shaped/angled.

Check the tech articles

are you going to put a conical filter on it and in the fenderwell? you really should cut some sheetmetal and put it in the fenderwell were the factory airbox draws from. that is the coldest air you will get.

also-is there really a gain from dropping the factory intake ducting for a straight pipe? i never tried to get power from an na 2.3

there really isnt much you can do cheaply to the na 2.3 for power. if its maf you could tear off the top end and practice your head/intake porting skills with little cost($100-150) and no worries. also try and get a late model ranger exhaust header, not a cast manifold. you can pick up a cheap na street cam(slider) from esslinger that would probably help. but it comes down to cost effectiveness. may as well just go turbo and save your cash.
