Default A/C question

Got a noobish question here for you guys. My ac is not working, and even if it did I still would not use it, so my question is can I take off the belt running to the ac compressor?

Hi,

Some of the other 2.3 N/A owners have taken that A/C belt off with some success. However, im not sure if it will adversely affect the water pump shaft with there only been 1 belt on that double pulley, instead of 2.

I would do some more reseach and see. Im not sure if theres a 2.3 N/A A/C bypass pulley available or not but that would be a good option if you wanted to run both belts.
