So after gathering some good info (thank you guys) and finding a doner car the fun begins. I know there will be several issues along the way so stay tuned as I will need your help. Most of my experience is with older engines but I have tackled a couple of FI's in the last three years, I have no experience with the 2.3's. There are a couple of things on the TC that I need to ask about first off. It has a switch for premium or regular fuel and I'm not sure what it actually does. Also the TC has a ride control and I'm hoping its a seperate system from the pcm. If someone can chime in that would help. As it stands now, the plan of action is to remove the engine/tranny from the fox along with the exhaust. I then plan on painting the bottom of the car. At the same time I plan on stripping the TC of everything possible that may be used. Once I get the engine out I guess I can remove the pan and do a visual and then start making some decisions. Oh..... the noise from the engine has completely vanished. It sounds and runs smooth. Me and my daugther (who is 14) drove it around the bolck several times and had so much fun we had to go and get some more gas. It actually has some impressive power and was a blast to drive. I did get some hatful looks from the neibours but that is just the way they are. I guess as you will see in the photos why I got the hateful looks. Here you go.

The premium switch was used so you could get by with lower grade gas if you wanted. When set to the low grade it pulls out some timing and I think drops the boost a touch so there isn't any knocking. I am 99% certain the ride control is separate. Auto or stick TC?

Ride control is diffently seperate. Also you can swap in the 8.8 turbocoupe rearend into the Mustang. There is some other parts need to go with the disc brakes. Now do not even think about putting the turbocoupe motor wiring in. The ride control harness is in engine wiring also. You would have to spit the loom and goodness what else to do. The other way is repin the Mustang harness for vam and computer. The best way is to swap motor only. Can rebolt the Mustang accessories onto the turbocoupe. Stinger has the wire conversion. Maurice
Didn't mean to confuse. But the turbocoupe harness is a mess. Everything you see under the hood is one harness. You need to use the vam pigtail. Here is link on the wiring change. Swap overview. Me when I done my swap I compared wire for wire from the 2 harness. Wish I had know of these info then. Maurice http://www.stinger-performance.com/turboswaphowto.html
Your wiring info. http://www.stinger-performance.com/turboswap.html
You can even swap the sway bars into the Mustang. I put a turbocupe rear sway bar in mine and helped handling alot.
Thought I would add my photobucket just in case need some ideas etc. You will note the Mustang started out as a 86 turbocoupe spec then upgraded to your computer and vam. Now has a rebuilt SVO motor. And no I didn't get if from a SVO. Bought it on a engine stand at a speedshop. http://s177.photobucket.com/albums/w...n75/?start=160
Looking over the info I need to retain the stock 93 harness and re-pin in. On the other parts it looks like a 85-86 garrett t3 turbo assembly is a better choice. Are all the lines compatable, or will I need to alter them? The goal of this build is to have something a little different, enough power to be fun to drive, and get good fuel mileage. I have started taking apart the TC and restoring the parts as they come off. Here are the first two. Oh, what kind of MPG are you guys getting and what are the engine specs?
I am planning on a hood mod and trying to use the intercooler. I am hopeing for about 250-275 HP and 25 MPG.
