Default SVO cam

bought an SVO ccam for my car, an 84 GT Turbo, factory from ford turbocharged, basically the same motor as an svo, just sans intercooler and large injectors, different tune and a smaller air vane, figuring i need an svo computer, air van and computer then i can install this, oh the cams out of an 86, my question, besides the aforementioned items, this cam should bolt right up, correct? the guy i bought it from measured it at 400 lift on intake and exhaust, i can't find the numbers for duration

hey, I'm pretty sure that the cam you bought is the same as the cam that you have in the engine. The only difference that I remember through the years are injectors, vane size, and tune, plus the a/r on the turbo. Anyways, it should be a direct bolt in and you shouldn't need a diff computer or injectors. All of the turbo motors use slider lifters so all the cams are interchangable
