Default Computer?

I have narrowed down everything to my computer being bad. My advance curve is opposite (retard curve) and all of the sensors and wires are in good shape and reading right. Is there a way to reflash my stock computer? Would i be best off by buying a stock replacement from NAPA or OReily's? Should i find one from a smashed car in a JY?

My motor is Cammed and bored. The motor ran fine when we put it back in the car, and has slowly lost its niceness. Now the only way it'll run is when the SPOUT is unhooked.

Any Suggestions?

Either j-yard or swap out with autoparts. I don't think noone reflashs the NA computer and not many do the turbo ones. PS what is the code on the computer. Remember mine use to be a na. Not sure if save my old one or not. Maurice

Only thing that comes to my mine is the pip or tfi on or in the distributor. I assume you checked belt timing.
http://rothfam.com/svo/reference/sensors.pdf page 17 how to test using meter. Also how to test all the other sensors.

what are the symptoms of the car? when it comes to the distributor i would only use motorcraft parts. I had tried an msd cap on my dist. and it would misfire at 10lbs.

I would check the TFI wiring, with considerable attention placed on the SPOUT wire in relation to the rest of the TFI harness.

As in it might have been pulled out of the harness?
