Cool THUNDERSTANG LIVES!!!

After all these years now I finally get to enjoy it!!

Went back to the BAR ref and got certified. Then had to go to a local smog station and it passed with flying colors! Ran down to AAA, got my 2011 tags, loaded up the wife and took a drive out to the lake! All this happened today, my 24th wedding anniversary. Not to mention, our new house closed escrow last week! I am truly blessed!!

Here's the 'smog' motor. Had to bypass the NPR intercooler and replace the RacerWalsh adj cam gear and Kirban AFPR with factory pieces. I'll put everything back next week!

A shot of the holy grail....BAR certification. Fellow Californians would kill for this 2" x 3" decal!

Clean as a whistle! Proof positive our little turbo motors run cleaner than the new crap that comes off the assembly lines!

Yeah, I'm posting on every forum I know of! I don't care! I'm jacked!!

that's awesome man.. good for you. California is probably the most beautiful state in the union, but I could never put up with their air resources board etc. =P

She looks sweet, one of the nicest 4 bangers I've seen in a long time. Those first couple of pics look like they could have come straight from the '89 Mustang brochure, that's how good they look.

Congratulations on getting Thunderstang out of the stable, that is one awesome anniversary present! Well....at least it is for you, your wife might not feel the same way . Those are some great pics, do you have anymore? When are we going to convince you that you need to get some video? Have you gotten everything swapped back like it is supposed to be? If so, how is she running now?

Sorry, no vids. I put the I/C piping, adj timing gear and AFPR back on and it runs good. I am having an issue with boost though. I'm not getting as much as I should. It's peaking at 8-10 lbs. I've got an aftermarket boost controller on it too, cranked all the way down so I should get a lot more. Haven't had time to mess with it though, been having too much fun driving it!
