Fuel Filter

Fuel Filter
Several days ago I purchased a '91 Mustang LX hatchback, 4-cyl naturally aspirated. What are the steps to replace the fuel filter? Do I need to release the Shrader Valve and engage the fuel pump shut-off switch [if there is one--I haven't checked to see if there is one, yet]. Any input would be appreciated--thanks in advance!
BTW I will be posting more questions soon about my car.

Welcome to the forum, and congrats on your new Fox!
There is no fuel pump shut-off switch (aside from the inertia switch) but there is a fuel pump relay under the drivers seat that you can unplug, or you can disconnect the negative battery cable which is what the manual suggests. Depressurize the fuel system by relieving the pressure through the relief valve (Schrader valve), use a pressure gauge tool and drain the system through the drain tube.
