Default Electrical Problems

She's been sitting in my garage for 8 months, runs fine. Now im trying to sell it.

I got the alternator tested, came out positive. The car needs to be jumped every time i want to turn it on. once on it runs fine, unless i try to use any of the electrical. i have to give it some gas when putting the top up\down to prevent from turning off. at night i cant use the stereo with the headlights on, else itll stall. so my question is, would it be the battery, even though the car is already running?

also, ground cables? i know nothing of them and where they should be. i did remove a cable that was connected from the battery to the inside of the driverside fender. in the trunk there is also a cable bolted into the frame.
are these ground cables??
