What would it take to get the frontend off the ground?

Default What would it take to get the frontend off the ground?

I bought my Mustang as a project car and had a bunch of ideas for it. Essentially to turn it into something that it might not be.

Anyway, one of the ideas was to make the car capable of having the front-end lift off the ground when the car accelerates suddenly (Pop a wheelie in a car I guess?) like some of the drag cars do.

Is it possible with this 2.3L engine, and maybe adding a turbo? Or is that just out of the question with this car?

With a set back engine, a heavy enough flywheel, deep enough gears, and enough launch rpms you might manage to get a little air.

Google "Ohio George Montgomery".
