then what year of clutch do i need then cuz i got a cable bellhousing for my 2.3t i wanna change it

If you want to switch to the hydraulic cable set up, you will need the bell housing (and hydraulic reservior, pistons, pedal set up) from a 87-88 T-bird 2.3L turbo.

naw i dont want hydro. i want a cable set up. i got both but the cable is way simpler ya no. i just need to no if i can use a 2.3 n/a flywheel an clutch?

my understanding is the stock 2.3L flywheel and clutch will work, while you have it apart I would recommend checking and if need be replacing the rear main seal, pilot bearing, clutch, flywheel and throwout bearing if need be- beats taking it apart again.

Thanks man. I thought I would ask before I waste money on sumthin that might not work.awesome!!!! I'm getting the rear main seal tomorrow an flywheel resurfaced when I get the clutch. The stang is coming along now.!!!

ok so do you no anything about this T5(z) reverse light thing i cant find good enough info on this. im not sure what it looks like. an where to find it. would it be on my tc harness. im gonna do a write up with pics on this so others can do it to. cuz everything ive found on it looks like they cope an paste it off stingers site lol. thanks again chrisvan!
