Ok I just got a 1991 4 cyl automatic mustang. 2.3 to be exact. Now in a .305 engine for a camaro the transmission (automatic) is a 700R type transmission. Could you tell me the name of the transmission in my 2.3 automatic mustang? Also, is the Shift solenoid located in the transmission filter area as to where i can change it myself? thanks in advance.

if your still wondering i think the 5.0 had AOD transmission and 2.3 had A4LD
