Hey guys. Im currently having an issue with my '91 right now. She was driving it to and from work and on her way home it died on her three times before failing to start at all. She had to get it towed home. I live two hours from my parents house so its hard for me to do much with it but I was over there for the weekend so I tried starting and it was making a really ugly noise but sounded close like it was about to start and I think it did for a minute but stopped.

I think there was a smell too. I also noticed when turning the key half way to turn the electronics nothing would come on but if you turn it a little further as if you were starting it, the electronics would turn on. But if you hit the keys it would shut off again.

I can't do much with it but I can get my father to try a few things to help you guys out if you need some more information and check things you suggest. Please let me know what you guys think.there
