Are you gonna go carbed or fuel injection?

You will need a complete motor, trans, rear end, and computer. You will also need a wiring harness or modify yours to plug in to the new ecu

I just purchased my first mustang. It is a 91 lx notchback w/ a 2.3 L 5 speed. I am also wondering what it would take to do a junk yard swap. My shop gets cars/trucks in with 5.0's alot and I was wondering if it was possible to put a 5.0 out of a old Mark VII or Grand Marques. Or maybe out of a F-150. If so could I still use my 5 speed? Also is it possible to swap the the rear end and front suspension out of a 02 v6 to my notchback? Any help would be awesome...

Any pushrod 5.0L will be a direct drop in. You will also need the wiring harness and ecu

No, the 2.3L and 5.0L 5speeds have a different size input shaft and pilot bearing.

yes it is possible, I have new edge front spindles and brakes on mine. The new edge rear will be too wide plus its an open diff from a v6. A rear out of a 94-98 GT would be a better choice or to use the new edge rear brakes and 94-98 axles in you rear housing to keep your 3.45 gears, which is what I did.

Thank you PNYXPRESS...Im on a tight budget, plus I will have to wait for the right stang to come into my yard. Patience, time and alot of reading study will help with this build. :-)
