Default SVO throttle position sensor

I am trying to replace the throttle position sensor on an 86 SVO.You can unplug both ends but the wires run through a steel collar and the end plugs will not fit through the collar.Using a mirror,I can see 2 tiny bolts holding the collar underneath the throttle body, but no human can get to them.Do I have to pull the entire injection system just to replace this sensor?SERIOUSLY??????This is beyond my capabilities and I cannot afford to have it towed to a shop.I am an old carb and points guy and this is why I drive a 71 scout as a daily driver.PLEASE HELP!!!!!!!!
