Default 92 auto 2.3 gear ratio

I've been enjoying myself blasting around in my LSx powered fox mustang swap I just finished. While doing so I've noticed that I the rear end seems to be EXTREMELY low geared. I was under the assumption that the 4cyl auto cars had 3.73's but this thing turns 3k rpm @55mph in 3rd on a 25.5" tire. This makes me curious as to what cogs this car has out back.

The answer isn't tremendously important as I plan on beating the poor 7.5 up for a few more weeks before I rebuild a GT 's 8.8 with 3.27's and a trac-lock that will hopefully provide a modicum of traction. But I'd still like to know.
