Default 1993 Security System Chip

I was wondering if this is a stock security system for the 1993 Mustang LX? It normally has a small chip in it that makes it so the car can start, but I lost it earlier today when it fell out of my pocket, and I have no idea where it went. If there anyway to bypass it so I can drive the car again, or am I going to have to try and find a new chip for it? It is located underneath the dash right next to the hood latch.

That definatly looks after market. It actually looks like a remote start antitheft circuit.

If you trace those wires under the dash , you should find a remote start/entry box. You may be able to find the specific model and find the chip on line or possibly even just remove it all.

I was able to follow it back and found what looks like a Bosch relay? What's the easiest way to bypass this until I can remove it entirely on my next day off?

You would need to figure out what wires go to what.

Generally the yellow wire is to the starter circuit, and the red wire is battery or hot all the time. Its the green and white wire that have me stumped.

You could get a multi meter and check for power of the red and yellow wires , both with key on and off. But that's kinda like shooting arrows with a blind fold on.

My suggestion is to start pulling the knee panel off under the steering wheel and see if you can locate the the main harness coming from the ignition switch and see if any wires are tapped into it.
