Thanks man! A lot of hours and love spent on this slow pony. I appreciate your respect for what it is and your overlooking what it could be. There are too many haters out there. No matter how powerful and fast, or how slow and easy... there's nothing like a fox body convertible on a gorgeous day.

I'll try to get a picture of my tag on here. It's a personalized plate "4BANGIN". LOL

This was the first time this original boot was ever put on. Unbelievable!

LOL, you know not of what you speak.... thanks though.

Sadly, my car has been a Wisconsin car it's whole life and I've got a front frame rail you can put your hand thru to prove it lol. The outside look's good yet, but the whole underside is just the opposite and not worth the investment. My wife want's me to get it done, but it's just not going to happen. I've been keeping an eye out for a solid notch roller, but the prices they're asking for those aren't dropping to reasonable levels yet......if ever.

We'll see, maybe I'll talk myself into it eventually.....

Wow! God bless your wife. Mine is always against me when I want to invest money in cars.

LOL, yeah she's a gearhead thru and thru. I picked her up a really clean 83 Hatchback for her own but she won't sit in it because there's a mouse nest in the headliner........so she's still a girl lol.

You're blessed to have a wife who's into cars. Get that nest out of the headliner and let her rip around in that machine. Or... is that your way of keeping her from touching it? 😉

Ha !!! I originally bought it to swap my drivetrain into it. But it's kinda like your car, very solid, runs and drives great, only 72k on the original V6. It purrs like a kitten. I couldn't bring myself to rip it down.

So somehow my wife called dibs on it one day and it stuck. We're just looking to throw a basic 302/351 carbed motor into it eventually. But she'll be driving it "as is" next summer, well after a new headliner in spring of course.

I am blessed lol. Now if I could only figure out teenage daughters.....
