It is somewhat believeable if you think about this....these cars are not hand built, they're mass produced. As such a certain tolerance is designed into them to accomidate the machinery of mass production being able to spit the same thing out again and again and have everything go together properly. That being said, OCCASIONALLY(like Bluebeast said, stars in perfect alignment) you may get a car from the factory that happens to be almost perfectly balanced and heave near perfect cylinder sealingetc, and as a result, it makes more power than the rest of the exact same car. That may be why once in a while we see an audacious claim of some fast bone stock time, when no one else can do it. But that certainly doesn't represent the vehicle class as a whole.
