Default 2005 V6 auto to manual tranny swap?

A friend of mine has a 2005 mustang V6 and started to hate having an automatic. She modified the car and got a custom paint job and various other mods. If it wasn't for the money in mods she would have just sold the car and bought a manual but now she has just put too much into the car...What is needed and how much would it be for her to swap out the auto for a manual transmission....and i mean EVERYTHING needed from the new tranny to a clutch pedal and shifter....After she does the tranny swap she is considering supercharging, i dunt know if that makes a difference in what clutch or tranny to buy

Thanks!

It'd be pretty damn expensive, she's better off trading it up for a newer model.

not to mention this thread has been posted countless times.

it will cost a lot of money.

transmission, crossmember, computer, wiring harness, clutch pedal assembly, mounts, driveshaft, not to mention paying someone all the labor to do it, since she obviously cant do it herself (if she doesnt know what she needs, i doubt she lacks the mechanical ability to do it)

and dont forget the neutral safety switch and the master and slave cylinder. The shifter, linkage, and the interior things like shifter boot and trim ring. Clutch assembly, bell housing and new flywheel. If you are serious about this undertaking you need to try to buy a wreck at a junkyard that was a manual car. Then she needs to marry a mechanic that can do all the labor to switch it all over because the mechanics out there that would be good enough to do this wont take this job as you cant make money on a job like that.

Wow, well then she might as well supercharge it on the auto tranny, what should she get on the auto tranny if she supercharges it? Tranny cooler, torque converter? Her car has 40k miles and it actually feels like the tranny slips once in a while so b4 supercharging should we do a rebuild?

Yeah you better get it sealed up if you suspect some slipage. Cheaper to get the seals now then wait till it gets worse and you need clutches and bearings.
