Default 93 Cobra intake on a 94 GT

I have a 93 Cobra intake manifold that a buddy gave me. Do I need anything special to get it to fit on my 94 GT?

You will need the elbow adapter. I am not sure if the EGR works the same, because it is built into the manifold.

Any one will work. Ford makes an SVO elbow, Edelbrock makes them, Trick Flow, Professional Products...just to name a few.

yes the egr will work, thats what the elbow is for, that way you can hook the egr and linkage up. Thats all you will need other than a plug for the number 3 cylinder runner where the act sensor is on fox bodies.

Will it clear the hood? The 94/95 intake is about 2" lower for a reason I'd think.

im pretty sure it would, infact im almost positive it will. The 95 cobra R had the cobra upper intake on the 351. So im pretty sure it should fit.

im doing this exact same thing on my car right now

you will need an intake elbow that is for a 94-95 mustang (i got mine from dallasmustang.com for justover a hundred bucks, but its still in shipping so im not positive its exactly what your looking for, ill let you know in a few days)

and about the hood thing, the hood should fit over it, but your not going to be able to use your stock tower brace, i just took mine off for now

ive heard that you dont need it unless your pulling the wheels off the ground? not sure

Exactly, the hood will be fine but the strut tower brace wont, the brace helps with balance in the turns, so unless your road racing theres no need to get a different or fabricate your original.
