i priced it out including cost of honing and everthing and its like 600-800 bucks so im thinking its just easier to go and get a crate short block. The guy that rebuilds all the engines around here wants 1000 for a rebuild :P.

a dd with a bit o spunk. so far its just been mesto with some nice features. Im really not looking to over make the car, so for me i think just a roller 302 would be nice i came across a full edlebrock proformance top end e303 cam and couple other goodies for a lil over 2k and 1k-1.5k is what im looking at for the short block.

DSS Racing, Coast High Performace. I say spend some extra cash and it'll be well worth it. What are hyperbolic pistons? Do you mean hypereutectic?
