I think you'll have a hard time getting anyone official to say anything official (or unofficial) until the info is public. Best you can hope is someone not from Saleen has a little bird whisper in their ear and they make a post (then of course you have to decide if the bird is truthful or not...)

 

Or what better Christmas gift to give then a pink notice, good luck to those people with no jobs during the Holiday Season.

 

Not to start any rumors .. but when stores close in the middle of the night ... or on a weekend they clean out invintory most of the time it's due to bankruptcy....

 

I would suggest that the new management has different plans for Saleen. A store that loses money is not in their plans, nor should it be.That moneyisbetter spent on quality control, customer service, new model development, racing programs etc.

 

It is odd that they would close unannonced right in the middle of the biggest retail selling season of the year. ???????

 

It's a shame I wont get to see it, but like Jonsey said: Its probably a business decision. Why keep a store open if all you do is lose money? Who knows. Maybe they'll open another one up in the future. We can hope, right?

 

Its probably way too much of a niche market to keep a brick and mortar store open.

I think I know what happened u see after a lil research here and there, and people i have spoken to say that steve saleen did not retire he was voted off by the board. with that knowing it would go public he said he retired. Now that the company is under different eyes and minds they are changing things up at SALEEN Is it good or bad? I DONT KNOW BUT I REALLY HOPE FOR THE BEST

Alright....I heard that they are moving the Saleen store down to 76 Fairbanks...dont know why??? maybe rent was too high,or maybe they wanted to fill up all the empty space...but it should be open again shortly....
