2000 mustang quarter mile?
My buddy has a bone stock 2000 GT coupe, just wondering the factory 1/4 mile and 0-60 specs....I tried searching around and i found that 99 GT's run 5.4 (0-60) and 14.1 (1/4 mile)......then it says 04 GT run 6.3 (0-60) and 14.8 (1/4 mile).....doesnt make any sense, only difference is the aluminum intake and the 8 threaded spark plug.....dont see how they can differ that much.....any help? thanks, oh and would my stock98 cobra beat a stock00 gt?

I recentally read this, apperent the old 4v Cobras were slower than the new-edge GT's because the Cobras don't develop a lot torque through the rpm band. But I am not entirely sure about that.

Somebody correct my mistakes here cause I don't have the whole story, but the 98 Cobras had some kind of tumble ports in the intake runners that supposdly helped on torque, but alot of people had them removed due to complications with them. They got dirty or didn't work to begin with -Not sure. The 98 SVT is good for a 13.8 stock with a proper driver either way.
