Okay I just bought a 1994 Ford Mustang. The person who had it before me swapped a 5.0 H/O 1994engine in it. Now it mine as well be a GT just with a V6 transmission and frame the only problem is the speedometor reading isnt correct anymore. I was curious as to if anyone in herewas able to get around that before? It there a special tool or something I can get to fine tune it and make its reading correct? Appreciate any help I can get and If you have questions that would help you withyour answer just ask.

 

a 5.0 with a sixer tranny, wouldnt the torgue rip that tranny up? but anyways for the speedo there should be a speedo gear that you can change so match it with your rear gears and you should be ok. but wait till you get input from other members

lol ya i know thats what i was thinking. ya something is wrong there double check that. otherwise check your sppedo gear

 

swap speed gears if it hasn't been done to corresspong with the rear ratio you have
