Default Tr3650 TSB Rebuild? Anyone whos had it done please look

I did a search and didnt really come up with anything that I'm specifically trying to find out so maybe you guys can help me. I have a tr3650 that exhibits the troubles described in the TSB 4-15-06 which is clash during the first to second gear shift. This happens when cold and usually goes away after 10 minutes but is still annoying.

First question is, is it worth it to go through the trouble and have it fixed? I know that my 2nd gear synchro probably isn't too good and my forks could stand to be a little beefier but some people say dont bother. I want to get a tri-ax but i want to put it on my tranny once its 100% not now with pending repair, so its holding me up with that also.

Secondly is, how long did it take from the time they diagnosed the problem and then when you got it back? Reason I ask is because I dont have a second car to drive and i need to get to school and work.

Third is, I went to the service department one time and told the guy it only happens in the morning when cold, but it hasn't been too cold around here lately. I cancelled my appointment because it was 60degrees that week (dec20th) When I told him about the tsb he seemed like he knew nothing about it. So if they insist that my transmission is fine what should I do, because it isn't.

Any other tips are appreciated
