I've had a lot of PM's about Cruise Night and if we will have a get together again this year. It looks like Cruise Night will be July 18, 2008 (never too early to start planning our get together).

Good news, I just heard from the owner/general manager of Northgate Ford and he approved setting aside some space for us to park for the event! He and I need to talk some more about times for us to set up since he will be moving cars off his front line to make space for all the Mustangs coming for the evening. I told him that last year we had no problems with our group, cleaned up after ourselves, and no one in our group was doing any burnouts in the parking lot we met in last year and that we would be sure to make him glad that we were there this year.

So if you are planning to come to Port Huron for Cruise Night this year, let me know so I can get a list together. I told him that we would take care to make sure we know who is coming and parking in his lot and exercise some control over it.

Great Mike - I couldn't remember if you were here for the event last summer, I guess I need to look at the pictures from that evening.

The dealer called the house today and spoke to my wife first, and he said that he though having our collection of Mustangs should be good for the place - and should attract a lot of people in and hopefully sell a Mustang or two. He also said "I thoughtsome guys were coming last year", I had checked with someone else last year and it sounds like maybe I didn't get the correct story from my other contact last year and the dealer actually wanted us there last year.

What time will this start? I've never been down there for "cruise night". Sux it's on a friday, since I'd probably be driving down there around rush-hour time (after work).

Last year we had a couple of people meet up early in the afternoon to rope off an area and then everyone else arrived sometime after 5 or 6. Jack (Wingman) set up a meeting place last year anda large group came up together so we had about 12 Mustangs all pulling in at the same time and catching quite a bit of attention. If I know how many to expect and when they plan to arrive(and we have lots of time for planning) then I will just make sure we have enough space for us all to park together.

Oh no, how did I get mixed up in that! Jack, where you at? We will have to see if the Walmart is convienent for everyone again this year.
