1987 Mustang GT with T TOPS road to restore!!
its pretty much stock right now, besides the gears. i replaced the headliner also, half of it was missing when i got it, my wife and i replaced it ourselves, looks pretty good. i swear the previous owner didn't bolt down anything, lol! so i went through tightening any bolt i could find, like the spoiler. the hatch wont stay up, have to fix that. just a lot of odds and ends, i want to get a tune up, and i'm sure it hasn't had an oil change in years. starts right up, sounds so good, absolutely love it! i'm not driving yet until the rear is fixed, so its really killing me!
i would take your time man it ain't like we can get out in them this weekend or anything lol. as much snow as they are callin for here we couldn't even get out the driveway with them lol. how did you guys do your head liner cause mine is flat missing .
yeah their calling for 1-5 inches here tomorrow! well we went to jo anne fabrics and got the headliner there, and bought the extra heavy duty spray glue. i did mess up a bit, cut too much around the corner of the t-top, but other than that it looks brand new. a bit of a challenge, but it wasn't too bad, better than paying $160 for a professional to put it in.
Goood find, i paid 4k, for mine...
mine needs tons of work as well...
Looks like its in pretty good shape for not as long as its sat.....
I love the t-tops
