Default Any tips/tricks to re-attach speedo cable to speedometer??

Trying to reattach speedo cable back to the cluster. Seems as though its on but when tested it pulls back off. Trying to press the retainer as I'm putting it back on, but so far it's not working.

Any tips/tricks is much appreciated.

Thanks

Check to make sure thecable is fitting squarely and seated into the speedo.

Thanks guys, I got it. Almost looked as if the white plastic peg in the end of the speedo cable was not quite centered, so it could have gone to the side instead of inside the hole.

I tried to gently straighten it and it snapped back on...all the way this time.

Thanks Again!
