Default Just ordered my JDM kit..

Basically ordered a Stage II without the fuel system. It will be tuned down (timing)some to keep safe (fuel delivery). I will later get the fuel system installed, and then have the full tune (I beleive only a timing difference). I figured go with the 3.4, and the plugs from the gate rather than buying Stage1, and then having to change the pulley, and belt when I get the fuel system in.

Awesome.

Let us know how it goes!

BTW, the fuel system install is easy- you access it thru the back seat area. The hardest part is running the wiring harness.

Thanks unclemilti. Not sure if I want to tackle the fuel pump myself. A little nervous about the float, and running the new wires. Now Jim at JDM is telling me that the SAleen Dual pump is the same as the GT500, but it has a Saleen wiring harness. Any opinions on that? I want to fin the cheapest route to go with the new pump purchase, and installation....
What did you think about the rest of the install, pretty easy?

Yes- the install is easy. And I would personally go with the Saleen fuel pumps, since the wiring harness and everything plugs right up.

Now I'm trying to decide if I want that new upgraded intercooler/HE. 1500 bucks..wow.

If you were anywhere near me we'd put the fuel pumps in ourselves. Took me about a day total taking my time for fuel pump and wiring harness. And by taking my time, I mean I am a perfectionist, so I just don't rip things apart and stuff them back together. No scratched parts, no ripped carpet..ya know...that stuff.

Man, I wish I was near you....I am the same way. I have done bolt-ons before, but never anything likean in the tankFuel pump. I am hearing you can get to it from the back seat too! Some things that I am a little weary of things I am not that sure ofas I also want it perfect....How do you like it so far? Is it an amzing difference? I know you went even further, but I am really curious about the regular driveability of the car.

I love it- I haven't got to spend much time in with it- I have been moving into a new home, traveling on business, and the weekends I do have, its rained.

But- if you need any help, or have a question- please PM me or something.

I am also getting ready to spring for the intercooler and a new shifter.

Who needs to save money? Spend it, enjoy it, right?

I wonder if the Saleen one is the same? I heard the Saleen (same pump) is easier due to the wiring being the same.
