You just want to drop a motor in? Then you can drop a 351 stroke them to a lot bigger.

If the sky is the limit and you have the money, you can put anything in one!

Well if you're rich and have money to blow the largest engine, to my knowlege, that can reasonably fit into an Sn-95 Mustang is a GM LS7 motor. You'll need to do a nice deal of modifications, but it will fit, and you'll be bad as hell afterwards.

i think vcs hit the nail on the head when he asked how much he wanted to spend. if you want the LARGEST engine, ive seen people fab vette engines into rx-7s, 5.0s into focuses, etc. however, it will not necessarily be the best bang for the buck. for the amount of fabbing to drop the "largest engine possible" into a v6 stang, itd probably be cheaper to just sell the car and buy the one the big motor originally came in, with no downtime.

i wonder what it would cost to get a nice 351 and tranny installed--i assume a tranny would be needed..

well unless you want to have it carbed there is going to be a huge deal of wiring going into it.
Probably the easiest wiring would be a FAST managment system.

The 5.4L is a good base to work with and mixed with a 3.75" bore with its stock 4.165" stroke you get a nice 368 cubes (6.0 - 6028cc's)

Also if you waitRoush is working on a new 7.0L mod motor to add to their line up. On E85 alone it produced over 700rwhp. It was in one of the MM&FF magazines.

I have to say though, its pretty sad when MM&FF stick to their guns on a sinking ship, any idiot can look at those pictures and know its a mod motor. They just tried to save face is all. The last post killed itfor good.

It depends. You may be able to find an engine you can rebuild, which is what I would do. Find one that is blown up and rebuild it. Yeah, def. a new transmission at somepoint. Once again, hit up a junkyard to find one. I know guys that have used old 5.0 John Deere motors. You could pull a 5.4 out of a Navigator w/ the wiring harness. But a 351 you would probably want to Carb it, which I rather have a Carb over EFI because of simplicity.

As far as 5.0s in Focuss... try twin turbo 5.4. There is one running around central ohio.

AND ISNT IT A SIN TO PUT A CHEVY BLOCK INTO A MUSTANG? AND YOU CALL YOURSELF A MUSTANG PERSON? [sm=icon_beat.gif]
