the tko started out as a 3550, which was a step up from the t-5. the 3550s were pretty good but broke a lot. the upgrade from that was a tko. the 3550s are no longer produced..
so now you have a tko500 and a 600. the only difference being the 600 can handle a little more torque. i think most of it all is the same besides gear ratios, and i think the 600 is hardened different or something. they both have 31 spline input shafts and blah blah. you'll have to run a different flywheel and clutch with those trans also.
