this is long debated on here, but the as the saying goes, "bigger is better" and the best blocks are by dart and DSS IMO.

no im just saying have less hassle and get it all in one kit for 3200. Cuz a dart block is 18-2400 and a good stroker kit is another 1000-1500, so really DSS is about the same price.

A Dart block is not cheaper than a DSS block.

Buy the Dart block and rotating assembly from Brian at AD Performance.

CHP 331 is what I would do. I know they say they fixed all the angle ratio problems with the 347, but I would rather a 331, btw, if you are using a new un-bored block the 331 will actually be a 327 and the 347 a 342.

What does it need to be bored to in order to make it the right size?

^ +1 w/ Full Auto. I think you are getting confused. A DSS block is still a STOCK block and will still be limited at 550rwhp (give or take). A DART block will run you about 2K easy with nothing in it (no crank, pistons, etc. etc.). Than add the $1,300 for a stroker kit and you have yourself a shortblock for about 3.5K.
