Default Weight Of Cars

What is the weight of the 1979-1993 fox bodies, and the weight of the 94-98 stang? I am trying to decide if the extra weight is worth the looks of not. Thanks, Robert

I'm an sn95 guy, always have been. The old foxbodys weigh about 500lbs less, but the sn95s are a little bit safer during an accident, offer a much better and modern looking interior, and offer the same performance as the old foxbodys, discount the 96-98 4.6Ls they were a hair bit slower than the 5.0Ls.

I thought for the sn95s the a hardtop mustang gt is about 3400, and the vert is about 3600. I believe as far as foxbodies go, the notchback is around 3000 pounds, and hatchback is around 3200.

so the hatchback weighs 2834, what does the 94-98 coupe weigh. I really like the newer ones better but it is mainly for a drag strip, so weight is important to me.

Dude I highly doubt that, sorry but there been people that have weighed their cars, LXs at that which weight less, and they have been justa bout 3000lbs, so I have a hard time believing it.

I would be intrested in the actual weight of a 93' gt without having to weigh it personally, if anyone could gimme a range that'd be greatttt
