hey guys, i just fired my car up leaving the gym and at first i was like, "wtf?!" it sounded almost like my motor had a small knock in it but not as loud. i decided to step on the clutch and the ticking stopped, then when i released it, it started doing it again. anyone have any idea what this is? throwout bearing maybe??

Did you replace your pilot bearing? Dont say you just greased it. It could be making noise too.
I did my clutch last weekend along with other mods. I don't know how old it was. My throwout bearing would make a sqeeking sound unless I rested my foot on the clutch. The bearing was in pieces.
i did everything in one shot and got a new cable and firewally adjuster at the same time. i will adjust the cable and see if i can get it to stop doing it. i replaced my pilot bearing also.
Once you get the squealing it's pretty much shot.
Make sure when you adjust the cable to leave some play in the clutch pedal.
As the cable stretches, pay attention and tighten it accordingly, especially a new cable.
