Default RE: what would you pay for a bare 351w roller block

im trying to buy one, its been sitting in a friends garage for a while(he is a chevy guy) the block belongs to his cousin he originally wanted 200 but I talked him down to 100 but I found out that the cousin said he would take 75 for it so Im thinking I might be able to get him to go even lower like 50 since they don't even know its a roller and no one else is making any offers

Default RE: what would you pay for a bare 351w roller block

i was at the junk yard to day and they said they would sell me a 351w block to rebuild for 150 but im not sure if thats a short block or not or if its a roller, but i was thinking if I can get them that for 150 and sell them for more I might start doing that, sound like a good idea?
