First I would like to say that installing the granatelli double adjustable uppers and the complete megabite lower control arm kit took 3 days of busting ass and thumbs. after a small cruise around town i felt an immediate difference in ride and traction was almost 100%. only problem is the car seemed a little slower, maybe im not used to the traction or not used to the stiffness but it felt as if the car didnt pull as hard as it used to. i call up a speed shop that im good friends with. i tell him exactly how i installed everything, i kept the adjustable uppers stock length and installed the mega bites per the instructions. he said i seemed to do everything right and told me to look under the car for a quick pinion angle check. i told him it is definately negative and he said that its impossible that the car will be slower if i did all of the above. maybe its just me and im not used to the new ride height and handling. but overall the megabites feel different as soon as i took off, stiffer, hooked up on street tires etc... i am just concerned on why the car FEELS slower although everyone tells me it actually isnt.

It's all in your head dude! You expect the old Stand to do wheelies and rip the tires off the rims but it just ain't going to do that without lots more HP under the hood! get it on the track and I'm sure you will see some quicker timeslips than you ever had before and then maybe you'll believe it's really quicker than it used to be.
