i test drove one, the dealer said, lay on it, it has a 5.0 in it![8D]
I told him the pedal was to the floor, 8k price tag , bad interior, I gave it back.

I bought the car for $6000.

The exhaust will come first...if u can help me pick out a good one, in my other thread.

But idk about gears, are they reliable? I will prob get 3.73's but i have no clue how to do it so I would prob have to pay a mechanic $500 to do it [:'(]

its actually peanut butter colored...pics look like tan tho. And rims andexhaust will be my first upgrade.

I want to get gears but im DEATHLY afraid to touch the transmission on any car!! Is there any manual or what not? And how long does it take to do? The exhaust is actually really loud for stock!

Gears are located in the rear end, you dont touch the trans

yea 3.73s would make a big difference. even 3.55s would but if you don't know your way around the toolbox real good and have experiance with the car i wouldn't suggest trying to do it yourself. You don't have to touch the tranny, it's the rear end that you are changing stuff. Very nice car buy the way. Get some cobra rims, new exhaust and gears and enjoy that thing with the top down

And given that information, it's probably safe to say that he doesn't have the ability to install the gears properly himself. Better off taking it to a garage. I only paid around $180 for my gears to be installed.

Default RE: No balls?

The SN95' have very resrictive exhaust and intake. But respond well to the simple stuff.
If I had just bought the car I would: Remove air silencer (rubber boot on air filter housing)
Tune up- ford Racing 9mm wire, cap& rotor, fuel filter etc. Clean t.body, run some injector cleaner through yopur next tank of gas.
+1 gears. The 3.55 in mine spins the snot out of the tires even from a roll and enough to go sideways.
Factory H-Pipe is plugged. C&L performance makes a nice CAI and get rid of the stock 55mm MAF and replaces it with a 76mm. Just a few idea that worked well on mine. Good luck.
