Default Mass air computer C1A1

I went to the junk yard today and pulled out a mass air computer out of a 92 5.0 lx and the computer reads C1A1. Being in Canada do we have different codes on them? I am guessing that since I yanked it outof a 5.0 5spd that Ishould be fine putting it in a 5.0 5spd for the conversion. Any oneknow about this code on the mass air computer?

I think C1A1 is an ECM program code for a 2.3L setup.

that would be interesting as it was an 8 cylinder I pulled it out of. Counted the plugs to be sure as some of the top of the motor was missing. I sure hope it is what I need, or I cut myself up for fun....lol

You may want to check this oldie, it was the only reference to the C1A1 program code (which is not listed under the GUFB strategy) I could find. BTW....2.3L engines have the DIS dual plug/cylinder system.
