Default 408 STROKER

I am switching my efi to a 408 srtoker carburated. Anyone know what changes i have to make to fuel system?

a manual pump or a lower psi electric one. you will need a regualtor. since most Carbd motors only require 4 to 8 psi or so

Evry thing must go . pick up, pump, lines . A 408 could most likely use a sump tank but 1/2" pick ups are avable . ford has front cover swaps for a mech. pump with pump cam and big cam dowle . but a ele. pump will be easyer .

I would replace all the lines to a larger dia. one..have your electric pump back by the gas tank...with you filter..

For that motor, get a pump that will put out 7-8 psi (or regulate to that) and flow 90+ gal/hour, could be electric or mechanical...

i done a swap for my freind he had 90 gt ,,put 351w in it ,,i dropped the tank ,,took out stock elect pump i ran a line to the sending top to the bottom of the tank ,,you can run 2 line down in tank if you want , thats what i did ,,cause he ran nos ,,had 2 fuel pumps...and still hed stock sending unit to boot...o the ran 2 holley blue pumps[IMG][/IMG]
