I want to order a keyless remote from ebay for my 1994 mustang gt...it has power locks,seats, and windows, but i have 2 keys for the car that are not original ford keys, so i have no idea if it ever had keyless, How do i find outif my car came equipped with it? is there a button or anythign under the dash to program it if i do?

theres a module in the trunk that has to be "jumped" in order to program the remotes.
im in the exact same situation as you, i need to look and see if the module is back there.

Control Processor, Electronic Door Lock Removal and Installation [ol][*]Open luggage compartment door (40110) .[/ol][*]Remove LH side luggage compartment trim panel and locate electronic door lock control processor in LH relay mounting panel (14B144) .[/ol][*]Disengage retaining tabs on relay mounting panel and lower relay mounting panel.[/ol][*]Remove the electronic door lock control processor from the relay mounting panel .[/ol][*]Disconnect three connectors and alarm and lock system antenna connector.[/ol][*]To install, reverse Removal procedure.

Programming, Electronic Door Lock Control Processor NOTE: The electronic door lock control processor erases all previous keyless entry remote transmitters (15K601) from memory when the keyless entry remote transmitters are programmed or reprogrammed. The electronic door lock control processor can store up to four keyless entry remote transmitters in memory. All keyless entry remote transmitters must be programmed (reprogrammed) at the same time. To program (or reprogram) keyless entry remote transmitter (s) into the electronic door lock control processor, perform the following steps: [ol][*]Turn ignition switch (11572) to RUN or ACC position and momentarily short the two terminals of the Program Connector (two-pin connector next to the electronic door lock control processor. Remove LH luggage compartment and trim panel to reach the connector). All front doors should lock then unlock. Remove shorting pin. [/ol][*]Press any button on keyless entry remote transmitter . All front doors should lock and then unlock to verify that keyless entry remote transmitter has been programmed. NOTE: If door locks do not respond, press button again (up to three times maximum with the same keyless entry remote transmitter ). If door locks still fail to respond, go to Pinpoint Test A.[/ol][*]Repeat Step 2 to program additional keyless entry remote transmitters into the electronic door lock control processor (up to a maximum of four keyless entry remote transmitters ). [/ol][*]Turn ignition switch OFF. All front doors should lock and then unlock. [/ol][*]Check operation. [/ol]
