Default 99 Explorer 5.0 Into 94 Mustang

Will I need to change the flywheel and such for this motor? I want to put the 5.0 out of a 99 Explorer into my 94 Mustang V6. I got the car for 100 bucks and can get the motor for 350. The motor only has 88K miles on it. I also already have the GT wiring harness for the 5.0. Any ideas will help. Thanks

I was told they were GT-40P motors still. All the research I did pointed that way as well. Either way I have a T*5 that I am going to use for the trans anyways.

Any other ideas that you think I should think about before I start in on the swap?

You make want to change the rear differential latter on because 6 cylinders have the 7.5 open rear. You will want to find a 8.8 out of GT. The 7.5 will be good enough to get your car going for now. You will also need a trans, flywheel, the computer, exhaust, air intake, mass airflow sensor and maybe a radiator. good luck with the swap.

Also you will need the accessory brackets. I know there is some stuff that I am probably not thinking of.

I would assume get the Mass Air for the 94GT instead of the 99 Explorer since thats the computer I will be running right? Exhaust is easy and radiator i know I dont have to change. I already have the new transmission going to a 5spd.
