Default timken or national bearing?

Heres my choices.....I can either buy the national bearing today or order the timken bearing. Its for my input bearing on my wc t5. I think the factory is timken. What would u do? I have never had experience with national bearings.

As long as it's not stamped "Made In China"......... either will work fine.

This is a valid reason and I'm all for supporting the country you live in. See the threads in smackdown lately?

Seriously. I prefer North American product too. I've also seen all the junk imported from China too. Why is it here? because us idiots buy them. Guess what, they make, we buy. Big circle.

As far as that goes. Not all products made in China are junk. Ever heard of McGill. Like most uneducated people. When we switched brands of bearings on the lighting machinery where I work. The new bearings failed prematurely and the engineers made the "China garbage comment.

I looked at the brand of the original, never failed bearings. McGill. Made in China.

Yea its like a dime a dozen with chinese manufactured products. They make em, but its harder to find, and since the cheaper products flood the markets, the great ones seem to get drowned out. None the less the general "made in china" seems to hold true to being crap...
