You need a V8 motor mounts,ignition,cooling system,and exhaust.
If you have an AOD it will bolt up as will the T5.The 3.8 and 5.0 share the same bolt patterns.
This is a simple swap and can be done in a day every thing bolts right in.

you could start by looking around for the parts that come STOCK on 94-95 GT's and cobras.... since they had a 5.0
and yes, its been done before, you arent breaking any kind of new ground with this one. Get the engine harness and ECM from a 94-95 and any accessory brackets you can scrounge up. this is not a hard swap... Infact, if you have all the parts (i.e. a donor 94-95) the swap can be done in a weekend

hey, I posted the same post but for a 95' i didnt really look around first i was wondering if anyone else could help me out too. i was wondering about the back end too. like a good set up in the back i was thinking 3.73s. also i was wondering if a hurst billet shift would fit in a 95, and a short throw. or are they two different things? also if the engine mounts would be like the gt mounts and stuff. if anyone would get back to me on my post i'd greatly appreciate it.
chris,
