Explorer GT-40P Camshaft change - Page 2

I havent put it in yet. The motor is a GT-40P motor out of a 99 Explorer and I am changing from a V6 to V8 so I havent put it in quite yet. If it isnt going to give me a decent power boost I am just going to leave it as it is.

Well I guess the only way I can justify spending the money is if I get a half way decent power boost out of it. A loopy idle just isnt gonna cut a two hundred + investment for me. So whatever cam would give me the most power for price would be nice. Any ideas on horsepower gains would be nice too...
