I am not to familiar with the particulars of camshafts. I am going to change the cam in my explorer 5.0 before I put it in my 94 mustang because I was told the cam in that motor was pretty crappy. What kind of cam should I get? I am not going to be doing any more real add ons like turbos or anything like that. Just gonna stick with the stock motor with a little bigger cam and such. Is it a roller cam or what excately is in the motor? They said that I should also change something else so that it can handle revving higher but I am not sure what that is. Thanks guys I appreciate all the help.

Really?? I was told with a good cam you would see a jump from the stock 220 to around 250 or 260. Was I lied to??
Yea, you were lied to. A cam aint going to give you that big a jump in power. I would still get a cam though like that Steeda #19 or TFS stage 1. I think it would be worth it for the loply idle if anything. Especially if you have the engine out of the car.
