4500 stall so you can get that puppy to rocket off the line
That's exactly right. 4500 would launch me where the engine torque is at it's peak. Since I'm only running a 3300 stall, the motor will launch before the peak torque comes in, and it will take a seconds to hit peak torque rpms. I haven't finished the suspension (it's on jack stands now), so I don't have any runs on this combo. If the AOD and the 3300 stall doesn't perform to my liking, I'll go C4 with a 4500 converter (car is just a weekend warrior). Bottom line, I think it's possible to run 12s with a 302 no power adders, as long as your parts complement each other.
